FAMILY PORTRAIT

Just wanted to share this with you, its an original oil painting done for us by a Korean artist.  She took a bunch of photographs we had and put them together on one canvas.  Pretty cool huh?  Ohhhhh, and that picture of me... it was taken back when I was 35 and my boobs still pointed to the east or west (and occasionally north)  instead of south like now days.

    That is a great collage....it's a treasure and you & your family are beautiful.
    I love the fact that you hold on to tradition, which is so hard today....it's important to know where we came from - so we can learn...thanks...Sandi

    When Iwas a kid...i would beg my grandma to make artichokes when I came over. It was a treat! She would complain about the price or the season was off or something. So I would think she wasn't going to make them, and then she would. I make them now, sometimes just for myself. I Love them. The stringy part in the heart shouldn't be eatten, thats what my mom tells me. But i  have been eating them for 20 years, i have'nt died.
