Rocky was harassing her brother the other day and tried to make reference to his underwear but couldn't think of a name to call them. Her solution: man-panties ! So that is what we call them around here now. Wish I had thought of it!
Rocky is sick today and she stayed home from school. It never fails, the kids are healthy all summer long, but a week or two after they start school they come down with a cold or virus. This happens every year. My kids hate missing school but today Rocky didn't argue when I sent her back to bed, thats how bad she was feeling. When she feels better she'll be mad about no longer having a shot at Perfect Attendance.
Zack had his 2nd interview with Walmart today. Poor guy will be working at a store where everyone knows his mother! The cool thing is that his schedule will allow him to attend classes at the community college next semester. On his birthday card last month I wrote 'Go to school, get rich, buy your mama a Mustang'. If anyone can do it, Zack can! I may yet get my '65 Mustang.

Man Panties.. HA!
My kids started back to school on Aug. 10th. My 2nd grader has already had to check out because of a fever, and my kindergartener missed yesterday (thur) because of a fever. It was just a 24 hr bug. And they haven't been sick all summer, and within the first few weeks, already happening. If people wouldn't send their kids to school sick, then it wouldn't spread like wildfire. Ok, I will quit ranting here.
My lil sis works at WalMart. She loves it. She wants to make a career out of it. She wants to work up to mananger someday. I wish she would go back to school while she is still young, but she seems happy there.
We owned a ' 65 mustang before. The original owner said it was a '64 1/2 but when we got the title, it was a '65. I guess they had a limited edition of '64 1/2's???My husband started restoring it. We ended up selling it before he finished it though. It would have been an awesome car when it was finished.
