I used to tell my boys that if they were bad I'd make them wear purple pajamas and send them to the Bad Boy Place with their other brother. Don't know why I said purple pj's, it was just the first thing that came to my mind. What was funny though was the look on their faces when I'd mention the 'other brother'. All this time they had thought there was only 3 boys, and in all honesty there were only 3 but they were too scared to ask about the 'other brother', they just figured that he was bad so he went to the Bad Boy Place in purple pj's. I know it was rotten of me, and I should have been sent to the Bad Mommy Place wearing chartruse pajamas, but it worked soooo well for about a year or so. I finally confessed to them that there was no other brother, and its a re-occuring joke in the house now, but you'll never catch any of those boys in purple pajamas!

The things Mom say. For the longest time, I believed if you swallowed the apple seeds, a tree would grow out. And I believed that one for a LONG time. I told my Mom about how I felt & she said, trees don't grow out of the stomach. Uh, duh. I know that now. -=)

YOIurs is a very touching journal. What lovely girls you have. I can tryly appreciate what you mean by pre-PMs, as one of my girls is gong through that now..LOL.

I used to terrorize my baby sister with stories of how the watermelon seed she swallowed would grow in her tummy, and the bean that she stuck in her nose would grow a bean plant out of her nose. My mama didn't see the humor in my stories and I always seemed to be in trouble even though I wasn't the one who swallowed the seed or stuffed the darn bean up my nose. I was sooooo misunderstood as a child! Thanks for the kind words about my journal. As you can imagine for the most part when I'm not seeking refuge in the bathroom (the only really quiet place in the house), its a real hoot to be in this family.
That was hilarious! My 3 sons would have been scared to death, too. Only I would have told them it was the wicked sister in the red tutu that they needed to fear...
