WEIRD KIND OF DAY

Have you ever had one of those days where you find yourself sitting and waiting in anticipation for someone or something, and yet you don't know the who, what, where, when or why?  Thats me, right now.  I feel like I need something, that there is something out there, somewhere, that will fit perfectly in the dark, elusive hole in my thoughts and make everything clear again.  I hesitate to move on because I'm afraid I might be moving further away from this 'thing', and yet I don't want to stand still for fear of missing it.  Is it my ship, waiting to come in?  Is it a windfall that might blow past me without so much as a fleeting wisp of breeze?  Is it a chance of a lifetime that I might miss in the blink of an eye?  Is it a second away, now a second too late?

I feel suspended in the wind, twisting and turning aimlessly.  I hear the monotone ticking of a clock, counting time as it passes me by.

I think I think too much.

I think I need some more coffee.  Is it bedtime yet?

Maybe Gabe is going to call... stay home and wait for it!!!  And, of course, drink coffee...

be well,
Dawn

Awwww... I'm finally caught up on the trials and tribulations of the oompah clan! Gabe looked good in the pictures of his trip home... and little Zachery is adorable. The rest of the clan sound like they are in rare form. AND, lucky you to get to meet all of the Wildwomen. I envy you that. I would love to meet the Oompahs and the Wildwomen... and in the same place at the same time???? Cool! Hey, you had only posted -40- times.... some have more like 70 posts... Thank goodness for Bloglines <LOL>

well I think you need to stop thinking, LOL. I have had the same feelings before so I really do understand.

often we spend so much time anticipating something, we miss it.  but i do understand what you are feeling.  if your luck is anything like mine, if it is your ship coming in, your harbor will burn down just before it docks, lol.

Dorn....I can relate.  I've waited around for 2 days for Verizon to fix what was broke.  I had no phone since Monday morning and I hadn't been on the PC since Sunday night!  I was suffering withdrawal!  LOL!!
About your entry........I can really relate to that.  I've been there in that same spot.  I don't think you think too much.  Sometimes sitting pondering or putting thoughts to paper give you the direction you need to go.
