THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING LABEL!

As I slowly ease into my pre-senior years I am discovering almost daily the changes in my body and its complex systems.  A recent experience has opened my eyes to the fact that Tabasco sauce is no longer compatible with my digestive system and now comes out every bit as fiery as it went in.  Of all my lessons, this one has got to be the most painful one learned to date.

Ya know Dorn...I have developed lactose intolerance in the past year.  I used to drink milk all the time, now I can't.  =(  Did I mention ice cream is on the no-no list now?  I miss ice cream!!!  LOL

I wonder when that will catch up to hubby. He likes hot hot foods, sauce the hotter the better...me on the other hand I can't even cut up a hot pepper without choking, tearing up and such.  Dorn, I like the way you put your "pre-senior" years you'll be a pistol no matter how old you get!  Sandi http://journals.aol.com/sdoscher458/IJustHadToLaugh

LMAO!!! I'm sorry Dorn, I'm not laughing at you. When my brother and I were little we'd raid the garden and we both loved hot peppers, but boy did we ever pay for it when we went to the bathroom. Once I got about to go and knew I wouldn't make it to the bathroom. So, I squatted behind some bushes. If felt like someone had stuck hot coals in my butt. I ran and sat down in the creek. I didn't look, but I bet you there was steam coming from my butt. LOL
