HAPPY BIRTHDAY ART!

Yesterday was Art's birthday.  Good Heaven's, has it only been 17 years that he's been driving me nuts?  Funny... it seems like longer!  Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

My cousin and her husband visited us from Hawaii.  It was so fun sitting around the table talking about old times... GOOD TIMES!  After dusting off those old memories I discovered the answer to the question I've been asking my parents for years "Were we as bad as my kids?"  No, we were definitely WORSE!

And guess what?  Today is the last day of summer vacation.  That means the kids go back to school tomorrow, and there will be peace once again in the Dust Bunny Kingdom....

Happy Birthday to Art!! My daughter turned 17 in May, and OY - my husband and I have been doing alot of that "who was worse as teenagers, us or our kids?" It was definitely US....but that's why I worry so much about my girls! ACK Interestingly, it is my 80-year old mother who is keeping things in perspective for me these days. She has kept me from going off on my daughter many times in the last year! I would have never have guessed it...

You've got the most incredibly gorgeous kids, Dorn, even though half their genes come from Dickiedoo. He do something right, that for sure!

(Just kidding, Dickiedoo. My hubby's belly sticks out more than his dickiedoo, too!)
