HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Becca:  Ewwww..., I just got bug splat on my face!

Dickidoo:  Are you sure it wasn't bird poo?

Becca:  Does bird poo have 6 legs?  NO!

Boobidoo:  Yes, if it just ate a bug!

Becca:  Ewww!  phooey!  Yuck!

(hehehehe!  I love bursting bubbles!)

Rocky came home from camping this afternoon.  I missed her, but I didn't miss the conflict between her and Becca.  Apparently Becca missed her as well because they were best of buddies for the rest of the day and night.

We spent the night chasing fireworks.  While it has rained every day for the past week, there is still a fire ban in place and private fireworks were forbidden.  Normally we would go to the Pikes Peak International Raceway which always hosted a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display, but it closed down last year so we were at a loss for where to go.  We ended up at a schoolyard near the Broadmoor.  This year every firework represented a salute to my son and the other service members serving in harms way.

Dickidoo has a new, temporary name.  I call him "Cala-Man".  Silly man went for a little hike through the woods in sandals and now his ankles and calves are covered with poison ivy.  Now his hairy legs are tinted a pretty pink from Calamine lotion.  Hehehehe!  Hahahahah!  HOHOHOHO!

LOL that conversation was funny! Glad you guys had a nice 4th. Hope "Cala-man" doesn't itch too bad and heals quickly!

Bug splat is better than chew splat.  I was riding in a dually in the back seat when the driver spit his Skoal out the window and it got me right in the face!  Ewwwww is only the tip of the iceburg!

LOLOL...what a visual of Dickidoo!  My cousin went to relieve himself in the woods.  He got poisoin ivy or oak on his front and rear privates.  He will never live that one down!  LOL!!  Glad to hear that Rocky is home, safe and sound.  Siblings fight like cats and dogs...but I know mine have each other's back, which is pretty cool.
Hugs,
Gina

Ha Ha...no mercy!!  Besides the poison ivy, wasn't "Cala-Man" afraid of getting snakebit on his toes or getting ticks or, numerous other yuckies I can think of?  Yep, he's a man!  Ha Ha

Glad to hear that peace reigns in your house with the girls, even if it may be short-lived.

Bye for now,
Mama
