LAUNDRY

I'm still trying to unpack from California.  The laundry pile is huge, we must have enough clothes there to stock a Walmart for Back to School!  I'm tempted to throw all the clothes away and just start out with clean, NEW clothes.  And only 7 outfits per person.  That way even if every piece of clothing is dirty, there will only be 49 underwear, 14 bras, 49 pairs of pants, 49 shirts and 49 pairs of socks to wash.  Sometimes I envy animals.  They don't have to worry about doing laundry cos they're naked except for fur.  Of course they have to lick themselves clean and lets face it, there are many places on my body that my tongue cannot reach!

LOL! I know how you feel! My poor hubby has gotten the fun chore of the laubdry lateky , since I have been laid up! He is finding out how it really is!
Hope you don't get any furballs on the tongue!

Yea, but just think. You have a nice washing machine and dryer, you could be toting all those clothes down to the river to pound over rocks all day. LOL I read about that same subject in another journal and it's made me thankful enough to not complain for a few days. heh heh

I understand where you are comming from. I hate laundry myself. As a matter of fact , I'm doing laundry right now. Luck for me there is only me and hubby, so there's not so much that I can't handle it.
Have a great day.

The laundry question is one that has troubled wives & mothers since the beginnings of time. What is the answer?? I can leave for work knowing the laundry bin is empty & return to find it full? How does anyone wear that many clothes in a day? I've tried giving my family a bin each & telling them to do their own. Hubby just doesn't, & just keeps wearing the same clothes until I crack, eldest does about 6 loads a day, but crams so much in she actually broke the last washing machine, youngest just doesn't do it, even if I offer to help, but sits & weeps in the morning when she has no clean clothes and tells her teacher how neglected she is. I can't win this battle. Good Luck to you...if you find an answer that works, announce it to the world!

Goodness Yes! You have a point there.  I mean, I have 15 black t-shirts, what's the point!??  I'm really enjoying your journal, and your take on things, you've inspired me to confront my own procrastinating demons, which I wrote about today, along with pimping your journal.  :-)
