ODORLICIOUS, and a pending trip to the Post Office

I am HAPPY!

Why am I happy?

I am happy because I smell like ME again!  I smell like Elizabeth Arden's Fifth Avenue.  I ran out of my favorite cologne months ago and have been wearing a hodge podge of fragrances ever since... left overs from Christmas's past, imported oils from Bahrain, Avon rejects and even a couple of lableless mystery bottles.  But those all shall be swept off the vanity so that my sleek angular bottle of glistening golden essence can once again take its place of honor.  I am Odorlicious, I smell soooooooo good!    Yeaaaaaaaah Baby!

There is about 12 inches of ice in the pool now.  I guess its too late to empty it now... The kids have already tried skating on it, but I'm afraid they may fall through the ice.  We'll give it a few more inches before we try that again, just to be on the safe side.

Anyhow.... this may be my last entry for a while.  Forever even.

Tomorrow I shall attempt an excursion to the Post Office to mail some packages out to the Grand-Oompa.  I still remember last year, just like it was last year.  I almost didn't make it back out alive.  I don't anticipate this year's trip to be any better.  Wish me well.  Hopefully I'll be back shortly.  If not, Merry Christmas, its been fun blogging with you all.  I shall miss you....

Love Dorn.

Dorn, do be careful.  Take someone to cover your rear and one to scout the front for someone putting their labels on in the line, have them banned.  Must be ruthless this time of the year.  Good luck to you.

Dorn, the good thing about you not blogging for awhile is that when you come back, you'll have tons of great tales to tell. I so look forward to hearing about them and I'm so happy about your odorliciousness.

You are very brave.  I have to venture there too...I have nightmares about huge boxes swallowing me up and someone runs over real quick and tapes the box! Good luck...at least you will smell good. LOL....Sandi

I'm the same way about my RED perfume.... I will wear something else occasionally, but G. says I don't 'smell like me' unless it's the RED! I also have to brave the post office to get out the grandbaby's (o.k., he's 4, but still a baby to me!) presents. <shudder> I'm not sure I will make it today, it may be tomorrow.... We'll see how the day goes <sigh>

It is 62 degrees out here today---maybe it is global warming, but we are loving it, even though it is not much for the holiday spirit.  I spent some time ordering the kids around and having them clean up the yard.

Meeting your family was one of the major highlights of my year!  I think about you often and hope everything is well...
