THE GOOD LIFE, and the snake update

I have my computer back, I have my broadband back, I have all of my pictures back, the Frankenputer is working again so the kids don't have to touch my computer again.  I don't have to share anymore.  Life is good!

Well, almost.  The snake is still missing.  Actually, its missing again.  Art found it yesterday morning and Becca put it back in the tank, but it got out again and has been loose since yesterday afternoon... sometime.  My house is like a minefield with paperplates of water laying around so the little critter doesn't dehydrate before we find it or it makes its way out of the house... or we (gasp) step on it.  The phrase of the day is 'Watch where you're stepping!'  I've already warned Becca that if and when we find it, the snake is going to be released back into the wild where it belongs, so if it dies it won't be on my conscience.

Went to the Indy 225 race at the Pikes Peak International Raceway.  The prize money for the racers seemed to be pretty awesome considering all they did was drive around in circles.  They didn't even have to get out of their cars to change their tires or pump gas, they had people there to do it for them!  All I can say is... I want a pit crew too!  I think I was more impressed by the guys in the pit than I was with the drivers.  But wow... to drive 170 miles per hour.  What a rush that would be.  But not in Big Red.  My truck doesn't like going faster than 80.  In fact she starts shaking at 70, which is good because I can always tell when I'm speeding on the interstate, which isn't hard to do when you're driving past the racetrack!

Well, the laundry should be done so its bed time for me.  Hopefully a wayward snake won't try to crawl up my nostils while I'm sleeping.  I know its harmless, but I just don't like the idea of it slithering around loose while I'm sleeping.

nah, it won't crawl up your nostrils, but it will snuggle up next to you to keep warm :) It'll be like a nice body pillow!
Peace and love,

I can see you are in heaven. Except for the snake. Good luck with that. Sandi
