BRONCOS and snow.

It doesn't show, but this Bronco flag is flying at half mast.  I am in serious mourning.  Plummer set a NFL season record, as well as a club record for passes... 499 yards, but it wasn't enough because the rest of the team couldn't get the ball across the goal line.  If I had been there instead of working (thank you Dickidoo, thanks a whole fricken-lot!) things might have been better.  In fact, just my presence at the house during the first part of the game had them leading.  Unfortunately I had to return to work and the mojo was broken.  5-3.  Thats okay... we can still do it.... BRONCO'S RULE!  BRONCO'S RULE!  BRONCO'S RULE..HOO HOO HOO.... BOO HOO HOO HOO!

The weather was cooperative for the trick-or-treaters this year.  It didn't snow until after they were all back in the warmth of their homes.  Unfortunately I had to go back in to work later that night to help with a short handed shift, and I got to drive back in the stuff.  I scraped 2 inches off of my windshield before I could drive home.  You know what.... snow is awesome from the inside looking out.  Snow is also beautiful in the morning light when you're bundled up warm and it crunches beneath your boots.  Snow is NOT awesome OR beautiful at 11:30 at night when it blows all around like a dust devil and covers the icy road beneath your teenie tiny sedan tires.  I was soooo glad to get home.  I want my Big Red!  Traction sucked, visability was awful and I was sitting on a pile of melting snow that had been knocked in the car  when I put the windshield wipers on before shutting the door.  I was so glad to get to the house.  Once safe inside, I stood infront of the picture window in the dining room with the vent blowing warm air on my cold, wet butt and looked out at the softly falling snow outside.  Ahhhhh, absolutely beautiful!
