!@#$% DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!

Good golly, as if I don't have little enough fricken time in my life to procrastinate with, someone had to come up with the stupid idea of Daylight Savings Time.

Dumb:  Hey, lets have everyone in the whole fricken country set their clocks forward one hour so they have more daylight to do stuff in!

Dumber:  Yeah, great idea!

NO!  That is such 'not a great idea'!  Falling behind in the fall is cool because I get to sleep in for an extra hour, but this springing forward plan really sucks.  My computer reset itself at some point when I was online after work last night (or this morning, when ever, what ever!) and I completely freaked when I saw the time, thinking it was later than it actually was.  Unfortunately none of the other clocks were set forward so after I went to bed I spent all the whole time peeking out of one eye at the clock trying to figure out just exactly when I was supposed to get up to be at work on time.

My faithful Anniversary clock never got set back last fall.  I look to it for the right time.  Its chime is still off key because the battery is close to dead, but nobody touches that clock.  It waits for Gabe to return to replace the battery.

I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!

Only 210 days until I get my hour of sleep and procrastination back.... Woo hoo!

As if just moving the hands of the clock actually changed anything.  No matter how they try to slice it, we still come out with only 24 hours in a day.  Wish they would stop making us tinker with the clocks unless and until they figure out how to actually ADD another hour.  Now, a 25-hour day would be something to look forward to.

I love daylight savings time. I love the more light the better.  Ok sorry you don't like it, but go back to sleep and sleep an extra hour.

Us in Hawaii don't have to sweat that kind of %#@*&.  After all, ask anybody here and they'll tell you we live by "Hawaiian Time" anyhow.

I'm in total agreement. Something is really weird, when I am walking my daughter to the bus stop in darkness! Ok I ready to set my clock back!

Yes, it is cruel, losing that hour in spring.  Although not freezing in the dark at baseball practice is a bit nice...

be well,

So sorry to sound so bloomin' thick, but I didn't know you did that in America, I thought (in my ignorance!) that it was just us Brits who did that daft sort of stuff, I did miss my hour! Roll on Autumn I say!
