SUMMER HEAD COLD

Been fighting a headache all day long.  I've been popping Aleve but there's no let up on the pain.  Don't even want to think what I'd be feeling like without the drugs!  I feel like every sinus pocket in my head is ready to explode.  Do you know what sinuses are full of?  Cultured and educated people would say 'mucous', but hey, I'm a lot of things but I've never been accused of being cultured or educated, so I'll tell you the truth about sinuses.  They are full of SNOT!  Those sinus headaches are caused when you have all this snot in your head, encroaching on your brain's space and just giving you all kinds of grief.  I've tried blowing my nose, laying down with my head hanging upside down off the chair, even cognac (sipping, not snorting), but to no avail.  My head still hurts!  Fortunately tomorrow is my day off.  I think I'll get one of those turkey baster and shove it up my nose then suck that junk out, kind of like what I had to do with the babies when they got congested.  If all else fails, maybe another one of them shots of tequila.... right where it hurts!

Ahh Dorn...I get sinus headaches a lot.  I swear by Tylenol Allergy & Sinus (Daytime).  Within 30 minutes of taking it, I can feel my ears popping open.  I've tried other brands such as Advil and the CVS brands; however, Tylenol seems to be the only one to work without having to take 2 days worth of it before it kicks in.

I've had a lot of sinus problems lately.  You know the kind...I'm sitting, working at my computer or something and then, out of the blue, a phlegm ball comes from an unknown origin and hurls itself up my throat.  Where the heck had that thing been?  Is it an incubated alien finally trying to break free of its human host?

Get well soon -- and I agree. If all else fails, Dr. Cuervo may have the perfect solution ;).

I am sorry you feel bad.  Sometimes squirting saline up there will flush it out and make you feel better...
